I haven’t had much room in life to fully digest a lot of films or even enjoy most of the ones I discuss, and that goes for director Jeremy Saulnier’s Blue Ruin which has been in my wishlist for what feels like ages now. I’m still keen on his work, personally, with an adherence toward gritty crime drama and suspense thrillers to go with my personal tastes in film next to action, and as of late, Saulnier’s newest, Green Room, certainly aims to do that with Sir Patrick Stewart leading in pure, brilliant villainy.
