WONDER WOMAN Gets Patty Jenkins To Direct!

It’s been two days since veteran television showrunner Michelle MacLaren reportedly left Warner Bros. long-awaited production of its forthcoming DCCU property, Wonder Woman, following her attachment to the film back in November last year. Alas, it was probably good that the studio stayed awake and in case things didn’t work out right away, and luckily, troubleshooting this one issue wasn’t so difficult. Word from THR states that Patty Jenkins has been tapped to replace McLaren who departed the film citing “creative differences”. Jenkins is best known for her work on her multi-award-winning 2003 debut crime pic, Monster, and was once tappd to direct the 2013 release of Thor: The Dark World herself before Terminator Genisys helmer Alan Taylor took the chair.
