Tino Nguyen’s new action thriller Domino has an official trailer as of Thursday following a teaser earlier this month in a long-running campaign finally getting traction. I actually kinda dig this trailer too, particularly with its white knuckle cliffhanger vibe at the end, whereas a lot of trailers are way more spoilery than they need to be. Hereby known officially for its Vietnamese release as Domino: Lối Thoát Cuối Cùng, it had been a few years Tino Nguyen’s new action thriller was shot in parts of New York and Texas prior to a first look teaser that went viral a year ago. At long last though, an official trailer has been revealed to the public as theatrical release chain CGV Cinemas sets a Vietnamese release on October 11. SangHo Entertainment recently unveiled a first look teaser for the new action thriller, The Domino File (regionally titled Domino). Shot last year in parts of New York and Texas, the film is directed by Tino Nguyen with a cast led by actors Thuan Nguyễn (Furies), Henry Nguyen and Quoc Cuong. Originally set to launch per its usual annual March date, the since-postponed Hong Kong Filmart is kicking off its two-day event on August 27 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). Arriving just in time this week will be Arclight Films who is officially boarding international distribution rights (excluding Vietnam) for Phan Anh’s new martial arts thriller, The Foggy Mountain, starring Vietnamese-American actor and martial artist Peter Pham in his feature film lead debut. The film is directed by Anh in co-operation with scriptwriter Ken Dinh, and centers on Phi (Peter Pham) who makes a living as a fighter and lives a simple and happy life with his beautiful wife named Lanh. THE FOGGY MOUNTAIN: Don’t Miss The First Teaser Trailer For Peter Pham’s Feature Film Debut

Actor and martial artist Peter Pham has been on the rise for some years now, having worked on a number of independent short film projects whilst in the states with independent creator Ken Dinh, after landing on the niche’s international radar in 2015. Pham, a specialist in Wing Chun, has since worked his way up to feature film territory with director Phan Anh and PhanBros Film for action drama, The Foggy Mountain, currently headed for a release in Vietnam on July 24. Pham plays Phi, a fearless fighter whose former village hangs in the balance upon his return home to avenge his wife’s death at the hands of a ruthless gangster. The film also features Simon Kook (Ip Man 3) and Vietnamese boxing champion Truong Dinh Hoang, and for what it’s worth for Pham, a new and prospective addition to martial arts action stardom.
