PLAY DEAD: Voltage Launching Sales On New Suspense Thriller From ‘Drive Angry’ Director
Voltage will launch international sales on the new feature, Play Dead, from director Patrick Lussier (Drive Angry, My Bloody Valentine, Dracula 2000). The film is currently in post-production and will be on display for distributors at the upcoming Marche du Film at Cannes. Written by Adam Mason and Simon Boys (Blood River, Song Bird, Hangman), Play Dead centers on criminology student Chloe (Bailee Madison) who fakes her own death in order to break into a local small-town morgue to steal a piece of evidence that ties her younger brother to a crime. Once inside, she quickly learns that the coroner (Jerry O’Connell) is using the morgue as a front for his sick and twisted business: selling body parts.
