RAGING GRACE: AMC’s Shudder Announces Cast And Production For New ‘Coming Of Rage’ Horror Drama
BIFA-nominated director Paris Zarcilla (Pommel, The Century Egg), produced by Chi Thai (The Promise, Little Miss Sumo) will pair up this November for the UK production of horror drama, Raging Grace. Zarcilla will direct the AMC Network’s Shudder Original film from his own script for a cast led by Filipina actress Max Eigenmann (Verdict) and actor David Hayman (The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, Finding Your Feet). Raging Grace is billed as a “Coming of Rage” film, aimed at spotlighting “the Filipino immigrant experience through a blend of horror and drama”, according to the announcement. In the film, an undocumented Filipina immigrant lands a job as a careworker for a seemingly terminal old man, securing a better life for her and her daughter.
