Albert Pyun’s CYBORG Gets Full Specs From Scream Factory With An April Release

Shout Factory’s Scream Factory shingle finally unveiled the long-awaited specs for the Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray of Albert Pyun’s classic sci-fi actioner, Cyborg. The product was announced last summer prior to its date having been moved twice but the word now is that the Blu-Ray will hit online shelves beginning April 24, 2018 in the U.S. and Canada, with purchases available at the official website. Jean-Claude Van Damme stars as the future’s most fearsome warrior in this adrenaline-charged sci-fi thriller. Deteriorating from a deadly plague, 21st-Century America is descending into a barbaric nightmare. Shout Factory’s ROBOCOP 2 Opens Fire With A Blu-Ray Clip

Nope, not everyone loves RoboCop 2, but it’s a classic for all of the right reasons and Shout Factory is more than happy to oblige courtesy of its Scream Factory line. Point in fact, they’re making available both the second and third films on March 21 as Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray releases for fans to own which you can pre-order HERE and HERE. Actors Peter Weller and Robert John Burke take the mantle in the films, respectively with director Irvin Kershner following up Paul Verhoeven’s 1988 classic which pits our hybrid mechanical lawman against an elusive drug syndicate and the corporate criminals emboldening him. Scream Factory Announces Collector’s Editions Of ROBOCOP 2 And ROBOCOP 3 On Blu-Ray

Josè Padilha’s 2014 Robocop reboot was a flawed endeavor that still had its potential, in my opinion. Beyond that and as far as I’m concerned, the only two films of the three original live-action titles dating back to nearly thirty years ago are the first two films from 1987 and 1990. Not that you’ll get both with what Scream Factory is offering but one out of two probably isn’t so bad. At any rate, some completists out there will likely appeal to this little bundle now slated for an amply-packaged Blu-Ray release in March, and as Collector’s Editions, no less.
