Fantastic Fest kicked off thursday with a rousing selection of feats that are forthcoming. Introducing Henry Jacobson’s feature debut, Bloodline, Dread Central‘s Jonathan Barkan took to the masses online to unveil the first poster art featuring actor Sean William Scott sporting a look fitting for such a title and tone. Festival programmer Logan Taylor lays it all out in his dissemination below as the fest readies screenings slated for Saturday, September 22, and Monday, September 24. Jacobson will be in attendace with producer Adam Hendricks and screenwriter Avra Fox-Lerner. If the most recent trailer for director Jay Baruchel’s Goon: Last Of The Enforcers wasn’t enough, perhaps a red-band redux will suit your fancy. The film opens on March 17 with none other than Sean William Scott leading the way once more with actress Allison Pill, Liev Schreiber, and Baruchel himself also starring. I’ve been slow to catch on to any of the Goon films but the sequel, Goon: Last Of The Enforcers, is opening next month. I don’t have too much to say about this one, but it’ll undoubtedly appeal to the comedy crowd with some fisticuffs for good measure and for fans of starring actor Sean William Scott.
