New Trailer For Seydina Balde Action Thriller, COVERT OPERATION

Previously known as The Borderland, writer and director Matthew Weschler‘s latest action thriller has since taken on new life with the title, Covert Operation, for North American distribution under Lionsgate/Grindstone. As such, a new poster was also unveiled last month – a bit on the generic side, but we also have a full trailer that keeps things much more promising, featuring lead actor and five time karate champion Seydina Balde in a role that is sure to please the average action fan’s eye. THE BORDERLAND Debuts A Second Explosive Trailer!

You are forgiven if you’ve completely forgotten about writer and director Mathieu Weschler‘s latest international action thriller, The Borderland. A trailer debuted back in March of last year billing actor, stuntman and five-time former Karate champion Seydina Baldè (Unleashed a.k.a. Danny The Dog, Punisher: War Zone) in the role of Gabriel, a bounty hunter caught in the throes of North Korean captivity and forced to fight his way out after a rescue mission gone awry. An exciting premise? Indeed, but the film disappeared off the radar and nothing was seen or heard from publicly ever since, although it is reasonable to believe that the film was busy making the festival rounds in search of buyers. New Trailer For Mathieu Weschler Film BORDERLAND

A trailer has been newly featured for an upcoming film called Borderland. The film is a new martial arts action movie produced by Aeternalis Films and the Bey Logan-owned B&E Productions, the same company behind the upcoming film, Fist Of The Dragon. Borderland is directed by Mathieu Weschler and stars Sedina Baldè, a 5-time World Karate champion with film and TV credits as an actor, producer, stunt performer and fight choreographer, with such projects that include Femme Fatale, Unleashed, Hitman and Casino Royale. The film also stars producer Bey Logan, along with Jason Tobin, Richard Sammel, Jared Robinson, Muriel Hoffman, James Gerard, Kirt Kishita, Sabine Crossen, Michael Chan and Simon Yin with action choreography from Gwor Shrfu and stunt coordination from co-star Antony Szeto.
