PENALTY LOOP: Yusuke Iseya, More Round Out Cast Of Supernatural Mystery Crime Thriller From Shinji Araki
The film marks the second directorial effort from Shinji Araki who debuted at the helm with 2020 mystery drama, The Town Of Headcounts. He directs from his own script which sees Wakaba in the role of Jun Iwamori, a grieving man who after successfully carrying out the perfect plan to avenge his murdered girlfriend, Yui (Yamashita), finds himself mysteriously repeating the same day and killing Yui’s murderer, Mizoguchi (Iseya), over and over again.
