CANNES: Participant, Nordisk Ink New Output Deal
Focus Features Focus Features is currently presenting moviegoers with a first look at Rupert Wyatt’s latest comprehensive sci-fi, Captive State which you can view just above. In the meantime with the launch of Cannes this week, the film now sits as one of several titles at the center of Participant Media’s new multi-year output deal with Nordisk Film Distribution for titles produced via Amblin Partners, including José Padilha’s Untitled Entebbe Project which wrapped back in February. The global expansion of the deal will cover the Scandinavian territories of Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland, building off a similar arrangement with eOne, for distribution in the United Kingdom, Benelux, Spain and Australia/New Zealand.
