That will no less include the Star Wars franchise according to numerous reports, thus officiating where The Rise Of Skywalker will land once it finishes its theatrical run after this Christmas.

It’s been real, guys. With more movies likely to come, it still bares noting director J.J. Abrams’s upcoming ninth Star Wars film will be the final bow for the Skywalker saga of the franchise. Abrams shared a photo of the principle trio of the latest three films that gave rise to the fandom in 2015 with The Force Awakens and proceeded with The Last Jedi a few years later. The newest installment doesn’t have a title but nonetheless reunites most of the cast from the previous two along with some new faces, in addition to Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Billy Dee Williams, and the posthumous casting of late actress Carrie Fisher who sadly passed away at the age of 60 nearly a year before The Last Jedi (short of a few weeks before the premiere of Gareth Edwards’ spin-off, Rogue One). Lucasfilm Saturday was a heavy-handed day for Star Wars fans attending Disney’s D23 Expo in Anaheim, California. Cutting right to the chase here, various costumes and other goods were unveiled at the expo, including plans for Star Wars Land – two 14-acre theme parks in Anaheim, California and Orlando, Florida with three concept pictures to show fans what is in store. The latest production of Star Wars VII has already undergone a significant challenge due to the current recovery of principle franchise cast member, actor Harrison Ford since breaking his leg last week on set, leaving him to take two months off from filming. Nonetheless, filming continues with director J.J. Abrams at the helm for the film’s expected December 18, 2015 release date, and with at least two spin-offs on the way, the word is now that Looper helmer Rian Johnson is said to be in talks and will begin working on episode VIII, in addition to episode IX which is still possibly seeking a director.
