Five months away from any talk of a possible third installment of Under Siege following his 1992 and 1995 films, Seagal is prepping a new $25 million dollar actioner titled Cypher with production company and international sales agent, Aldamisa International, LLC. Word has it that actor Steven Seagal is planning a third installment to the previous success that was the Andrew Davis-directed hostage thriller, Under Siege. The news came in an interview earlier this month with The Big Issue‘s Steven McKenzie, where Seagal mused about (among other things) music, martial arts, and Russia. Furthermore, in conjunction with his expressed admiration for Russia, the actor also spoke about the possibilities of returning to his roots as the character, former Navy SEAL Casey Ryback who first saw himself taking on mercenaries on a Battleship in the 1992 original, followed by the Geoff Murphy-directed follow-up, Under Siege 2: Dark Territory in 1995 against a money-hungry tech quack armed with a satelite-powered military weapon on a speeding train. Film producer and former Steven Seagal cohort Julius R. Nasso is looking to step back into the martial arts film foray once more with the forthcoming production of Darc, a new thriller to be directed by Damian Lee with actor and former Karate champion and multi-award-winning martial artist Tony Schiena starring. News of the production comes just sixteen years after Nasso met Schiena in London, where the actor also ran his own international security agency. Quoted in a new interview at the LA Times, Nasso says of Schiena, “I met martial artists all over the world during my tenure with Seagal. He’s the real McCoy. He’s got the credentials.”. It’s probably the best Steven Seagal movie that never saw the light of day with a mock trailer fron 2011 meant only as a standalone piece. However, based on the YouTube comments and the overall loyal fanfare surrounding actor Steven Seagal, it appears people are willing to pay whatever amount of money to actually see this movie. Seriously. Well, you have to hand it to Seagal, one of Hollywood’s biggest milestone action stars as he’s since reverted to B-list films for sometime now. In this day and age, even things as silly as a Cockpuncher movie still seems possible. No, it probably won’t happen for the actor whose next appearance will be in director Keoni Waxman’s crime thriller, Force Of Execution. But I suppose if you’re a hardcore fan, one can only hope. And that’s it.

Steven Seagal Prepares For War In The New Trailer For FORCE OF EXECUTION

The new trailer is out for the new action crime thriller, Force Of Execution, which sees helmer Keoni Waxman back in the director’s seat with starring lead, veteran action hero Steven Seagal. The film is the fourth project shared by the two since working on A Dangerous Man (2009), television series True Justice (2012), and Maximum Conviction (2012) with Steve Austin co-starring. The film also stars actor Bren Foster who also appeared in Maximum Conviction. Foster previously starred in the Mel Gibson and Jet Li executive produced fantasy martial arts thriller, Invincible, with legendary Hong Kong action designer Tony Ching Siu-Tung, and director Jefrey Levy.
