Steven Soderburgh’s UNSANE Lands At New Regency; Fingerprint, Bleecker Street Sets March U.S. Date
Apparently director Steve Soderburgh’s latest horror thriller is being shot using an iPhone – I couldn’t tell you much of anything since I’m an Android user but I guess the Logan Lucky helmer was up for a fitting challenge. At any rate, New Regency announced on Wednesday that the company has acquired the international distribution rights to the Academy Award winning director’s upcoming psychological horror thriller, Unsane. The new move underscores New Regency’s m.o. to collaborate with like-minded and visionary creative talent. Leading the cast is actress Claire Foy who plays a young woman involuntarily committed to a mental institution where she is confronted by her greatest fear while identifying whether or not it is real, or a figment of her delusion.
