STRAY DOLLS: Sonejuhi Sinha’s Latest Crime Pic Opens April 10 From Samuel Goldwyn Films
“Pretty. Dangerous.” That’s the tagline for Sonejuhi Sinha’s new crime thriller, Stray Dolls which now has a limited theatrical and digital U.S. release on April 10 from Samuel Goldwyn Films. We have a trailer out and running this week, as well as the official key art and stills before then. An expansion from her 2015 shortfilm, Love Comes Later, Sinha directs from a script she co-wrote with Charlotte Rabate. Geetanjali Thapa (Trapped) stars along with Olivia DeJonge (Better Watch Out) and Cynthia Nixon (Sex and the City) and Robert Aramayo. Riz, a recent immigrant and ex-gang member, works at a motel in hopes of starting her life over in America. At the motel, Riz meets Una (Nixon), the formidable owner, and her drug-selling son Jimmy.
