The Explosive Pictures Presents: THE DEAL 2
Independent filmmaker, actor writer, musician and cinematographer Salomon Abiassi is presenting a brand new action comedy shortfilm on his YouTube channel, expanding on a concept that once began several years ago. Namely featuring Swiss indie action up-and-comer Betim Alimi, the new shortfilm titled The Deal 2 is a follow-up on a seven-minute dramatic action short film shot in 2011, with Alimi playing a lazy courier who gets caught in a drug deal gone awry; The project ultimately became a film festival favorite a year later. This time, Abiassi‘s efforts are much more martial arts-oriented than the first, with principal performances by Alimi and actor Issa Hedjran, and further lends accolades to Alimi, who himself has been working on his own craft as a stunt fighter and choreographer since 2005, namely attributing his inspiration to well known action performers like Scott Adkins (Ninja: Shadow Of A Tear) and Daniel Bernhardt (Parker).
