Home Invasion Thriller, DON’T BREATHE, Releases This August From Sony

Fallout from SXSW appears to be benefitting filmmaker Fede Alvarez some with feedback circulating on his latest premiere, Don’t Breathe. Screencrush‘s own observation lends a notable comparison for Stephen Lang’s character to that of Rutger Hauer in the 1989 thriller, Blind Fury, among others, which caught my eye in tracking this particular title, not being able to attend SXSW and all. That said, I’m intrigued by this movie already and its latest poster makes it even more official. Sony Pictures is releasing the film in August and they have more details in Tuesday’s announcement just beneath. AMC Series, PREACHER Gets A Premiere Date

Vivacious events over at SXSW this week have gladly left room for mention of AMC network’s forthcoming series, Preacher.
