YA Novel, THE YOUNG ELITES, Now In Trilogy Development At Fox, Temple Hill
The YA audience of book fanatics and moviegoers still prove to be a particularlu viable source for the people over at 20th Century Fox and Temple Hill Entertainment. Their current success with last year’s The Maze Runner, has become a thing with a sequel on the way this September, and with this, they’ve now taken it upon themselves to pursue another live-action venture – this time with author Marie Lu’s late 2014 Putnam Juvenile publication, The Young Elites. THR reports that Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey are producing the film for Temple Hill, set in a time when a rampant disease called the “blood fever” which transforms some of its victims, even granting them special powers and gifts.
