Every year this weekend marks a significant time for the Star Wars fandom. This year goes especially to those looking forward to the new Disney+ series, The Acolyte, which makes it two-part premiere on June 4. An investigation into a shocking crime spree pits a respected Jedi Master against a dangerous warrior from his past. As more clues emerge, they travel down a dark path where sinister forces reveal all is not what it seems… Leslye Headland (Russian Doll) is creator and showrunner on the series headed by Carrie-Anne Moss, Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-jae, Dafne Keen, Manny Jacinto, Jodie Turner-Smith, Joonas Suotamo, and more. The official trailer is here as well, and while the teaser back in March was surely something to fawn over, this trailer pretty much reasserts things.
