If you’re a big fan of actor Kellan Lutz, and sword and sandals, action and adventure cinema, chances are you’re preparing to join the onslaught of moviegoers heading to theaters this Friday for the forthcoming release of director Renny Harlin‘s newest fantasy mythology action adventure epic, The Legend Of Hercules. Lutz, who will appear in the upcoming action thriller, The Expendables 3 later this year, has been hitting the presses to promote the film in which he plays the titular role, a demigod betrayed by his Zeus and sold into slavery when his forbidden romance with King Amphitryon’s daughter is discovered. The final trailer for Hercules: The Legend Begins aired this week in the final weeks before the film’s North American release on January 10th, 2014. Renny Harlin directs the film from a screenplay by Daniel Gliat, which sees actor Kellan Lutz in his latest big step into becoming an even bigger star before appearing among next year’s all-star returning cast of The Expendables 3. The film also grants a small wish for the worldwide fanbase of the film’s villainous King Amphitryon, played by Ninja: Shadow Of A Tear star Scott Adkins whose career mixture of both big and small screen successes have founded a perpetual fan outcry for him to star in bigger movies. Following a recently settled lawsuit between Lionsgate and MGM, Summit Entertainment has since unveiled its newest retitling of director Renny Harlin‘s epic fantasy action adventure, Hercules: The Legend Begins, now rebranded as, The Legend Of Hercules. Releasing on January 10, 2014 in 2D and 3D as the first of two films (the other sepetately directed by Brett Ratner for MGM’s August release), The Legend Of Hercules stars Kellan Lutz, Scott Adkins and Gaia Weiss, with Liam McIntyre, Liam Garrigan, Johnathon Schaech, Roxanne McKee and Rade Serbedzija.
