Filmko Promotion is underway for director Soi Cheang’s forthcoming sequel fantasy, The Monkey King 2 with actor Aaron Kwok leading the way. In the meantime, fans may already know Kwok as the Bull Demon King opposite action star Donnie Yen in the title role in the first, The Monkey King, which became a Winter smash hit at the Chinese and Hong Kong box office in early 2014. That film had since garnered representation and appeal thanks in part to Global Star Productions as the company announced plans for its franchise expansion.
