EFM 2017: Baltasar Kormákur’s THE OATH Lands A U.S. Summer Release
It’s been a bustling two days for Contraband and Everest helmer Baltasar Kormákur ahead of EFM. His Aaron and Jordan Kendall-penned Adrift, landed at STX Films earlier this week and now word has it that his Icelandic thriller, The Oath, has landed at Gunpowder & Sky distribution for U.S. release this summer. Next to directing and producing under his RVK banner, the film also marks Kormákur’s eight-year return to acting along with co-stars, actress Hera Hilmar and actor Gísli Örn Garðarsson.
