AOF 2014: Z-Team Films Set To Premiere Its Debut Feature, DIE FIGHTING!

Not enough can be said about how good it is to witness something as amazing as the latest offering from our friends over at Z-Team Films. The production banner title is the latest evolution of the eponymous team French team that found its beginnings in China with Fabien Garcia, Yannick Van Dam, and brothers Lohan and Didier Buson making excellent short films for the online action fan base within the past decade. As we speak, I’m currently working on talking to a few of the team members in light of their latest long-awaited labor of love, The Price Of Success, which has since taken new life with the new title, Die Fighting following an initial trailer back in May of last year. Three years ago, actor and martial artist Joey Ansah launched a phenomenal effort in adaptating a shortfilm suitable to showcase a conceptual look into what should go into a properly designed live-action vision with the 2010 online release of Street Fighter: Legacy. This year, Ansah‘s newest theatrical series venture, Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist, delves right into the multi-generational expansion of the narrative introduced in the 2010 shortfilm, with lead actor and co-writer/creator Christian Howard, and fellow lead actor and today’s subject for interview, Mike Moh. I have a special place in my heart for independent martial arts action productions. I love a good quality martial arts movie, as long as the action and the story are good, whether or not the film has a huge budget or a small one. Considering the amount of work the Z-Team have done over the years, and the accolades they have achieved over the years, it is without question they have earned my utmost faith and support.
