TIFF 2015: Walter Hill To Direct Transgender-Led Assassin Flick, TOMBOY, Weaver And Pinto In Talks To Star

One such title now making the rounds comes by way of The Solution Entertainment group who are shopping their latest assassin flick, Tomboy, to buyers. Veteran action movie helmer Walter Hill is attached to direct the film from his own script co-written with Denis Hamill which focuses on a top hitman who sets out for revenge when he is subsequently betrayed and captured by “The Doctor” who subsequently gives him a sex change. THR reports that acclaimed actress Sigourney Weaver is in talks for the role of “The Doctor” with Slumdog Millionaire and Immortals co-star, award-winning actress Freida Pinto up for the role of Johnnie, the nurse who helps our hero-turned-heroine.
