It’s been five years since actor Da Peng’s Jian Bing Man put him on my radar. I’ve yet to see that one as it was never granted the legit U.S. release it was announced for, though the actor himself has managed to maintain his trajectory some. The Journey To The West 2 and Vortex actor’s return to the big screen now brings us The Winners, opening next month in China. Peng plays Yanjin, an earnest and vexatious bank worker whose whose latest branch assignment has his co-workers training in robbery prepardness, and him, training to be a real bank robber for that reason.
