Today we have a new trailer for the upcoming sci-fi comic book action adventure continuation of the Marvel multi-film franchise, Thor: The Dark World. Actor Chris Hemsworth returns once again as the hammered one from Asgard, who is reluctantly tasked with recruiting his nefarious adopted evil brother, Loki, played once more by Tom Hiddleston who roused audiences in character at this year’s Hall-H panel at the San Diego Comic Con last month. This time, in Thor: The Dark World, the two must regroup with Thor’s fellow Asgardian warriors in order to defeat Malekith, another intergalactic dark force of evil bent on conquering Earth, which should provide some interesting insight as how Loki would match against him as two evil titans clashing in epic fashion. 2011 and 2012 brought comic book movie fans a chance for a big screen adaptation of the classic hammer-wielding superhero, Thor in a slew of superhero movies that preceded last year’s blockbuster hit, The Avengers starring Chris Hemsworth. Today we are given a brand new teaser for the upcoming sequel, Thor 2: The Dark World, directed by Alan Taylor. The film will see the return of Anthony Hopkins, Ray Stevenson, Jaimie Alexander, Rene Russo, Kat Dennings, Natalie Portman, Idris Elba, Tadanobu Asano, Zachary Levi, Stellan Skarsgård and Tom Hiddleson reprising their roles from the previous films. Joe: Retaliation and its upcoming release, word has stirred about on the internet regarding the filmmaker’s participation in the potential reboot for Masters Of The Universe, the 1987 science fiction fantasy action adventure feature film based on the successful toy and animated television series.
