‘Black Kung Fu Cinema’ Knuckles Up For Blaxploitation Screenings In Durham This Spring

This Spring, down south will be the place to be as Speller Street Films, in association with The Pinhook and Mo’ Better Soul, sets up shop in Durham, North Carolina, as its next stop for traveling Blaxploitation cinema exhibition and screening series, “Black Kung Fu Cinema”. April 23 will see the premiere of Lu Chun-Ku’s 1975 thriller, The Black Dragon’s Revenge, starring Ron Van Clief, followed by Cirio H. Santiago’s 1974 femme fatale thriller, TNT Jackson on May 21. Both screenings will be accompanied by pre-recorded Q&A segments with the films’ lead stars, Ron Van Clief and Jean Bell, respectify, and will feature live music by D.J.
