TOMBOY, A REVENGER'S TALE Lands At Saban For U.S. Release
Actress Michelle Rodriguez is still a leading mainstay in Fast And Furious franchise having just begun her return for the production of F. Gary Gray’s Fast 8. In the meantime, her prospects beyond Universal Pictures’s road-thriller franchise are also coming to fruition courtesy of 48 Hours and Bullet To The Head helmer Walter Hill’s newest, Tomboy, A Revenger’s Tale. The film is certainly a double-take inducer given its premise: An assassin who seeks revenge after he’s double crossed by gangsters and given gender-reassignment surgery at the behest of a sinister plastic surgeon, played by actress Sigourney Weaver.
