Netflix, Dreamworks Animation Announce VOLTRON & TROLLHUNTERS In New Original Series Line-Up
As of this week, Netflix users can look forward to a slate of new original series content for the subscription platform. It’s great news for fans of 80’s sci-fi and robot animation fanfare who can now expect a reimagining of the classic series, Voltron, as well as followers of Guillermo Del Toro in lieu of a serial transition of his 2015 book series, Trollhunters. It’s also worth noting that both properties have been in feature film development for some years up to now at the behest of their respective studios, though it’s fair to say now that some folks see serial adaptations as the best possible solution for these kinds of projects. That may not necessary mean their films are completely off the table, but for now, these updates seem pretty solid.
