Well, it looks like it will be another year of good TV for superhero fans when the new Fox TV prequel series Gotham hits later this year. On Monday night during the premiere of 24: Live Another Day, viewers were treated to the full cinematic trailer for the new show based on the DC Comics character, Batman, which centers on actor Ben McKenzie‘s role as the relentless detective, Jim Gordon. While the show doesn’t appear to tie in to the latest trilogy completed by Interstellar helmer Christopher Nolan, it does offer much of that similar, grounded tone that helps present more of a relatable cop action drama than anything, and it looks really good. With a little over a month left before the North American February 12, 2014 release, we now have the first US television spot for director Josè Padilha‘s upcoming sci-fi action remake, Robocop. Promotion has since kicked off with several bits of new footage, including a PSA spot, and new poster art which users can view through the film’s official Instagram feed. The film also has a newly unveiled banner which you can view at the top of the page. Adapted for the screen by writer Joshua Zetumer for a 2D and IMAX release, Robocop stars Alex Kinnaman leading the way as the titluar future of law enforcement, along with Gary Oldman, Michael Keaton, Samuel L. Although no announcement yet for the film’s Spring 2014 release date in Japan has been made, the film is expected to release on February 12 in North America, and on the 14th in other countries.
