‘Hobbs And Shaw’ Director Has UNDYING LOVE Set Up At Studio 8
Just days away from the official trailer Fast And Furious Presents: Hobbs And Shaw, director David Leitch is marking a new foray into graphic novel territory with Undying Love, as reported by Mike Fleming Jr. at Deadline on Wednesday. The Image Comics publication rolled out in 2011 from the minds of Tom Coker and Daniel Freedman. Warner Bros. Pictures initially nabbed the rights that year prior to hiring filmmaker Alex Aja, and then Joe Carnahan to direct the following year. Fast forward to 2019 and the project is now in the hands of Jeff Robinov’s Studio 8 outfit. Production begins later this year from a script by Tommy Wirkola (Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, Dead Snow 1 & 2).
