UNLOCKED: Watch The First Trailer For The Noomi Rapace Action Thriller

Enough helmer Michael Apted’s latest, Unlocked, is rolling out its sales in Berlin courtesy of sales agent Bloom. In turn, we have our first trailer ahead of the film’s release on May 5 in the U.K. with Prometheus star Noomi Rapace and Lord Of The Rings saga co-star Orlando Bloom headlining the cast. SYNOPSIS: Alice Racine lives a quiet life in London. Once the best interrogator in the CIA, Alice failed to unlock a prisoner in time to save the lives of several people, prompting her to leave the field and become a caseworker. When the CIA apprehends a suspect who is believed to have direct knowledge of an imminent terrorist attack, Alice is called in unexpectedly. Bourne-style action sequences and storytelling have largely become a thing with male leads, namely actord Matt Damon and Jeremy Renner who are still currently charging their own titular films within the franchise. This week however, the genre is gearing toward a more female centric role in Unlocked, now underway in the U.K. with lead actress Noomi Rapace (Prometheus 1 & 2, Sherlock Holmes 2) starring. The World Is Not Enough (1999) and Enough (2002) helmer Michael Apted is directing the new film with a script by Peter O’Brien, which centers on the story of a CIA interrogator in a race against the clock to stop a biological attack on London soil.
