The early days of the internet proved pretty exciting for me as I dabbled further into the world of indie film and fan film forums. Back during my college years, all I had at home was 56k dial-up and so I would always use one of the lab computers on campus to entertain myself because their service made it a little easier at the time. Dave Ardito’s PERCEPTION OF PEACE Spotlights Action, Drama And Global Turmoil In The First Teaser

German action cinema will be popping up on our radar quite a bit this year among other things, and with a talent base far from faint. Actor and stuntman Dave Ardito is one such example whose recent stunt performance credits include James McTeigue, as well as Mike Moeller actioners, Arena Of The Street Fighter and One Million K(l)icks, and after a small raft of shortfilm credits in the director’s chair, it wasn’t until around 2014 that the wheels began turning at Ardito’s production banner, Visioncreed, for their newest thriller, Perception Of Peace. My weekend was huge, and the week before it was pretty busy. Still, hell bent on maintaining new content as with every week, I’ve returned once more with the Hit List with all the usual bits of action gems you can enjoy. It’s been a while since I shared any content from an indie group. Luckily the folks at TeamBay were kind enough to bring us something cool to look at in the form of a new pre-viz test fight clip featuring Stina Amedick. It’s a cool little experimental video from fellow martial arts cinematic action stylist and indie filmmaker Vi-Dan Tran, directing yet another impressive project from independent talent. Aspiring martial arts athletes from around the world are continuing to put out some of their best work in the hopes of becoming the next in line to help deliver what is now expected in today’s generation of martial arts athleticism and showmanship. And today’s example comes from none other than the sound track of hip hop duo Black Sheep’s 1991 hit, “The Choice Is Yours”, applied to the latest reel from martial artist, stuntman and tricker Sefa Demirbas hailing all the way from Europe by way of dynamic award-winning German martial arts performance and screenfighting troupe TeamBay (meaning Team 7, with Bay translating from Vietnamese).
