WARCRAFT Comes Home On Blu-Ray, DVD, Digital & 4K This September

Didn’t get a chance to see Warcraft in theaters? Well, neither did I. Thankfully the film is well on it’s way to its regularly-scheduled home releases on Digital, Blu-Ray and standard DVD in a few months so you won’t have to go without. Personally, I’m hoping that the film’s global box office results from this summer’s release warrants a sequel. The chances of such are pretty slim since it typically takes better numbers in the U.S. for any news of a follow-up even though lighting does strike once in a while (talking to you, Pacific Rim 2!) Moon helmer Duncan Jones’s latest offering is looking sharper with every second that goes viral. Warcraft is the name, taking its cues from the longstanding popular game from Blizzard Entertainment and in fine form with a release set for June 10. SYNOPSIS: The peaceful realm of Azeroth stands on the brink of war as its civilization faces a fearsome race of invaders: Orc warriors fleeing their dying home to colonize another. Worlds Collide For The Fate Of Many In The New Trailer For Duncan Jones's WARCRAFT

Today is Friday, and that means Bilzzcon day over at Blizzard Entertainment where the first official trailer has now viral for Duncan Jones‘s latest video game incarnation, Warcraft. Notably with this film, it’s Jones’s wish to break the so-called “video game movie curse” which has crippled similar titles of the genre, and if that’s the case, the trailer is proof positive of that effort because it simply looks stunning and gorgeous as all hell. The Comic-Con uproar has since fizzled from last weekend’s electricity over many of the gems that fans got to view and observe. DANIEL WU Joins WARCRAFT

With Legendary Pictures and Universal Pictures currently developing Warcraft for the big screen with Blizzard Entertainment, the production has already begun casting with announcements already arriving as of a few weeks ago. This week, we have two more names to the list, one of which includes actor Daniel Wu, who recently appeared in director RZA’s Kung Fu Cult free-for-all action adventure, The Man With The Iron Fists and the sci-fi thriller, Europa Report. The film is based on Blizzard highly popular Guiness World Record-holding massive multiplayer online role-playing game, now going almost twenty years strong with up to 12 million subscribers to its player base.
