New Title And Casting Confirmed For Wu Jing's WOLF WAR

An update over at Chinesemov was unveiled by some viral movement on Facebook earlier today showing the cast listing for director Jacky Wu Wing‘s upcoming commando action thriller, Wolf War. The film was titled Warg and Wolf in previous reports with behind the scenes footage showing Wu and actor Scott Adkins on set filming in camouflage uniforms over late summer in China. Interestingly enough is that the cast listing also includes actress Yu Nan, who most recently made the spotlight in the all-star cast the 2012 blockbuster, The Expendables 2, and is also set to appear in Fu Huayang’s exotic all-female jungle action thriller, Angel Warriors this November. In addition, the film has also apparently cast actor Vincent Zhao, best known for his work in such action titles as The Blacksheep Affair (a.k.a. Update: An article posted at Twitch on 9/13/13 reaffirms Tony Jaa is still confirmed for S.P.L. 2, reaffirming rumors reported late last year. A google-translated article over at MTime this week reports that S.P.L. director Wilson Yip will be producing alongside director Pou-Soi Cheang (Dog Bite Dog) for the currently-developing Sha Po Lang 2, the sequel to the Yip-directed 2005 gritty martial arts revenge cop thriller The news comes a little over a month after the film was greenlit by the State Administration Of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television in a report from Film Business Asia back in August. HERCULES 3D Director Renny Harlin Drops Sequel Clues

Cliffhanger, Die Hard 2 and 12 Rounds director Renny Harlin is lining up post-production on his next hopeful blockbuster, Hercules 3D, starring Kellan Lutz, and also starring Liam McIntyre and Scott Adkins. With all hopes in place for a sequel, Empire got the most recent scoop from the director on what the next hopeful installment would entail. “Our story is the young Hercules, so I would say that the sequel will probably dive into the Labours.” Harlin says. “As you know, in the mythology Hercules ended up killing his wife and children, and as atonement he got the 12 Labours. So we definitely reference them as a future thing, but he doesn’t go through them because he’s just starting his journey.” Harlin’s current production is described as being a cross-between Louis Leterrier’s Clash Of The Titans (2010) and Ridley Scott’s Gladiator (2000), where the screenplay will focus on Hercules’s unrequited […]

The official Scott Adkins Facebook page has unveiled some new set photos fir the upcoming film, Warg. The film stars Jacky Wu Jing in his latest stint as director, now working with actor and action cinema hero Scott Adkins. No word yet on what the plot of the film will be as it continues production, although we are left with knowing it will be a “comnando” style film. Hopefully we will learn more in the days and months ahead as Adkins will be taking questions in an upcoming Q and A video.
