I’m not really a horror person, but I have grown up with the usual share of Freddy Kruger, Jason Voorhees and Michael Myers gems of yesteryear. It’s a genre with an epic cult following like most genres out there and so it’s understandable how some might feel about any particular character being rebooted in some fashion.
