Wesley Snipes Sharpening His Own ‘BLADE-Killer’
With Marvel surging along with writer Stacy Osei-Kuffour (PEN15) for Mahershala Ali’s upcoming Blade revamp, it appears Wesley Snipes is heading onward with a supernatural action thriller of his own. No details are available yet about the project, save for what Snipes alluded to in an interview with Uproxx, billing the project as a “Blade-killer”. Even going so far as to call it “Blade on steroids”, he added “…We set our character in the world of shape-shifters and a little bit of time travel. But the action is going to be… Well, we did white belt action in Blade. Outbreak Z, the high-caliber stunt-loaded zombie actioner announced last September from Winter State Entertainment is casting up now with Wesley Snipes set to star. Tarus Award-winning stuntman and fight choreographer Chris Brewster, best known for his stunt performance and screenfighting feats in Antman And The Wasp and Marvel’s Daredevil, is making his directorial debut. It’s nothing fancy but it looks solidly acted and performed up to par as a watchable feat from the auspices ot WWE Studios. A team of special forces soldiers approach the designer of a high-tech military compound to investigate the disappearance of another team guarding the facility. The compound, known professionally as a Temple, is an artificial intelligence powered facility designed for interrogating high level prisoners. Not long since setting the stage on the small screen for NBC’s The Player, action star Wesley Snipes is ready to make things happen over at Erebus Pictures for WWE Studios’s new movie, Temple. The film in question is 59 Rows Of Teeth, an independent action drama peppered with Taken and Bourne franchise elements.
