Lionsgate To Release JACKIE CHAN PRESENTS: AMNESIA In The U.S. This January
Producer and debut director Xong Zi-Yin’s 2015 effort, the Jackie Chan-produced Who Am I? 2015, now hails its remake roots at Lionsgate. Jackie Chan Presents: Amnesia is the new title for its U.S. DVD/VoD release set for January 3, 2017…and no less with a title so typically generic that it might as well have been Jackie Chan Presents: Forgetting…or Memory Loss. Whatever. It could’ve been a number of things – this from the same company that titled Luxia Jiang’s Coweb as the ninja-less Ninja Masters. They might as well hire me as I can do this almost all day. Heaven forbid they acquire Jackie Chan’s Kung Fu Yoga and retitle it as something that actually compels me to keep a straight face… Oh well. Not holding my breath.
