MY HERO ACADEMIA: WORLD HEROES’ MISSION Gets October Release In The West
The popular anime adaption of Kohei Horikoshi’s shonen manga My Hero Academia has broken records with it’s films in the past. The third film installment in the series is likely set to gain even more accolades when Funimation brings the film to U.S. theatres in October following its Japan release earlier this month. My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission follows protagonist Izuku “Deku” Midoriya, and two of his superhero classmates, Katsuki Bakugou and Shoto Todoroki, as they try to take down a villainous organization and clear Deku of false accusations. Featuring several brand new characters created by Horikoshi, the film after its second weekend in theaters earned a total of 2.06 billion yen (U.S. $18.7 million) with 1.58 million admissions.
