Josh Boone To Direct X-Men Spin-Off, THE NEW MUTANTS, For Fox
Time will tell what the future holds for Professor Charles Xavier and his team of heroic mutants when Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Apocalypse arrives next year in May. In the meantime, Fox is reportedly devloping a spin-off from their current franchise titled The New Mutants, and has officially closed a deal with The Faults In Our Stars helmer Josh Boone to write and direct. In 1982, Chris Claremont and Bob McLeod created the first team of which there are three, with the other two from seperate creative groups in 2003 and 2009, continuing the saga centered on the stories of young mutants trained at Xavier’s School For The Gifted.
