DOJO WARS: Overview and Review of COBRA KAI Season 3

To say that Season 3 of COBRA KAI was highly anticipated would be a sheer understatement, as the continuation of this ‘karate saga’ has created incredible momentum since this series was first released in 2018. One of the key strengths of the series is its pacing, and there isn’t a complete reliance on exposition, despite the historical importance of the prior cinematic trilogy. Note some minor spoilers will be presented below: Season 3 commences right after the surprisingly brutal school fight at the end of Season 2. This resulted in numerous injuries, with Miguel Diaz (Xolo Maridueña) copping the short end of the stick – or rather kick, as delivered him by Johnny’s son, Robby Keene (Tanner Buchanan) in their confrontation. Netflix is streaming the official trailer for season three of the hit series, Cobra Kai, ahead of its January 3 premiere. If you’re all caught up, then you’re already roped in for what looks to be a solid new chapter in the saga ahead of its pending fourth season. If not, all seasons are on Netflix right now as of earlier this year. Of course, you’re also welcome to view the original trilogy just for clarity considering Yuji Okumoto’s return here as well; He also cameos in Bao Tran’s new action comedy, The Paper Tigers, next year from Well Go USA. The wait is officially over for YouTube Red subscribers who’ve been waiting for the premiere of Sony TV’s Karate Kid sequel series, Cobra Kai. The first two episodes are now available and serve as a delightful, high-energy invitation to explore the follow-up story that otherwise re-energizes the fanfare in a tasteful, fun fashion with actor William Zabka leading the charge this time opposite Ralph Macchio. Weeks and weeks of short teasers and promos now bring netizens in full view of the official trailer for YouTube Red series, Cobra Kai. The first few seconds feel like a tiny spoiler if you have a keen eye and sense in comparing the footage to that of the original film, but what ensues is a raft of reasons to get into the narrative. Roles swap in this new installment with actor Ralph Macchio taking on a more antagonistic persona for the show opposite William Zabka whose own arc is the crux of the series.
