WAR 2 Adds ‘RRR’ Star NTR Jr.
Variety’s Naman Ramachandran is reporting the addition of NTR Jr. to the upcoming sequel to Siddharth Anand’s 2019 espionage action thriller, War. The South Indian star of the global success story, S.S. Rajamouli’s RRR, will join returning actor and Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan for the sequel which will be directed by Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva helmer Ayan Mukerji. A trade source told Variety: “NTR Jr is locking horns with Hrithik Roshan in ‘War 2.’ It’s going to be epic. Their battle of wits and their fierce showdown will definitely be an action spectacle to remember on the big screen. This move by Aditya Chopra enables ‘War 2’ to have the widest audience appeal for a Hindi film and it also widens the box office potential of the film. PATHAAN: A Storm Is Coming In The Latest Trailer For Shah Rukh Khan’s New Action Adventure
Big things are abound for leading man Shah Rukh Khan and anyone following his work. That includes upcoming action-adventure, Pathaan, which joins Khan with hitmaker Siddharth Anand who came in hot in the last decade with Hirthik Roshan starrers, Bang Bang and War, the latter which also featured Tiger Shroff. Pathaan also stars Deepika Padukone (xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage) and John Abraham (Attack). There’s no direct plot description available from the film’s home base at YRF but the trailer above comes English-subbed, which should do plenty to bring context to Khan’s latest ambitious spy thriller opening on January 25, 2023.

The film stars celebrated actor Ranbir Kapoor whose momentum has since been on the rise with the current campaign for Ayan Mukerji’s fantasy adventure, Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, which is said to be the start of a trilogy launching in September. I’ve since been a Hrithik fan after five of his films in total, while additionally keeping track of Jackie Shroff’s martial arts wunderkind offspring, Tiger Shroff who broke out in 2016 with romantic action comedy, Heropanti. Both have planted their feet firmly with their fanbases to date and now they’re readying to etch themselves in further this Fall with action thriller War.
