Actor and last year’s NYAFF Screen International Rising Star Award Winner Ryohei Suzuki (Egoist) is now the face of the the latest live-action take on manga classic, City Hunter. With an April 25 date stamped, a brand new trailer is in the mix as of Monday, proffering up another promising move in the genre for Netflix in the wake of its recent successes. Ryo Saeba is a “sweeper” based in Shinjuku, Tokyo who cleans up trouble in the gritty underworld. Although he’s an unparalleled playboy who struggles to keep his cool around beautiful women, when he accepts a request, he carries it out with crack marksmanship, impressive athletic abilities and a calm composure.
