MISSION: CROSS Trailer Promises Explosive Matrimony This August

Director Lee Myung-hoon’s new action comedy thriller, Mission: Cross, was something that I had my eye on earlier this year and wondered about. Of course Netflix would be the ones to quietly snap it up and now we have an August 9 worldwide launch date set for the streamer. In the ultimate test of marriage, an agent-turned-househusband gets tangled in a perilous mission with his detective wife, who’s clueless about his past. Yum Jung-ah and Hwang Jung-min star along with Jeon Hye-jin, Jung Man-shik, and Kim Chan-hyung. Check out the trailer!

Choi Dong-hoon’s follow-up to hit sci-fi spectacle Alienoid and Ryoo Seung-wan’s post-Smugglers career with a sequel to 2015’s Veteran aren’t the only titles worth eyeing in the new year. For this, we have a brief glimpse at Mission Cross, featuring the respective actors of both aforementioned flicks, actors Yum Jung-ah and Hwang Jung-min. A man leaving his past behind and living as a househusband ischased by his wife for his secret life! A hard-working househusband and a former special forces officer Gang-mu (HWANG Jung-min) is hiding his past from his wife Mi-sun (YUM Jung-ah) who is a violent crime detective. One day, a mysterious woman, Hee-ju (JEON Hye-jin) appears to Gang-mu and Mi-sun assumes that his husband is having an affair. Mi-sun is after Gang-mu and Gang-mu is after something else. If life has you feeling down any, I think Choi Kook-hee might have the perfect remedy for you. It’s got Psychokinesis star Ryoo Seong-ryong and Alienoid actress Yum Jung-ah. It’s also got music, dancing, a ton of nostalgia and heart for the minute or so of footage we see in the official trailer for Choi’s newest romantic dramedy, Life Is Beautiful. Suddenly learning she is terminally ill, ‘Se-yeon’ asks her husband, ‘Jin-bong’. the absurd task of helping her find her first love, and he unwillingly joins her search. Along their journey, ‘Se-yeon’ and ‘Jin-bong’ are reminded of the most glittering, beautiful moments of their lives. The film also stars Park Se-wan and Ong Seong-wu, and opens in theaters September 28 from Lotte who is also handling international sales.
