EXILED: THE CHOSEN ONES Director Teases ‘Apex Predator’, Announces Sequel Title [EXCLUSIVE]

Director Ranjeet S. Marwa’s newest thriller, Exiled: The Chosen Ones, remains in post-production with the team going over pages of notes of what to include and so forth. All hints at a release are tentatively looking toward Spring or the Summer depending on how things fluctuate, while Marwa continues to build his repertoire a bit for the 2021 seasons. He’s currently developing a new romantic drama which he’ll announce soon, and he’s also prepping a few more projects to round out the year, namely with Sunny Pang hitman thriller, Blind Rage. BLOOD RUSH: ‘The Night Comes For Us’ Director Boards Ranjeet Marwa’s Indo Action Thriller As Consultant [EXCLUSIVE]

Director Timo Tjahjanto is officially coming aboard as production consultant on Ranjeet S. Marwa’s latest thriller, Blood Rush. The move reunites between Tjahjanto, and his Headshot and The Night Comes For Us actors Zack Lee and Sunny Pang, who have since joined the cast since the film’s announcement at the top of the year. Pic hails from Rocket Sky High Motion Pictures Ltd. Marwa will direct from his own script which centers on Lee in the role of Max Wayan, a grieving widower whose secretive new life in the occult turns out to be more than he bargained for. Also joining the cast are actors Yayan Ruhian (The Raid franchise, Hit & Run), and Nathan Jones (Jet Li’s Fearless, Mad Max: Fury Road), and stunt performer/action actor Nick Khan (Aladdin, Invincible) who also serves as fight choreographer. Filmmaker Ranjeet S. Marwa is betting it all on his latest Indiegogo campaign these days to help make one of his biggest dreams come true with the new action thriller, Blood Rush. I first found out about this project and was astounded that a new name in the craft had emerged with such an ambitious talent roster on hand, featuring the incomparable Yayan Ruhian, Singaporean actor and action star Sunny Pang, and actor Zack Lee who has proven himself immensely as an actor capable of delivering a performance caliber worthy of audience praise. Director Ranjeet S. Marwa is ready to take the mantle to keep Indonesian action cinema relevant with Blood Rush. As City On Fire recently brought to light, he’s brought on Headshot cohorts Zack Lee and Singaporean actor Sunny Pang, and action sensation Yayan Ruhian to lead his cast. Marwa will direct from his own script starring Lee in the role of Max, a widower who, after witnessing the death of his wife and child sets out to rebuild himself in a secretive cult underworld. BLOODY REVENGE Draws Plenty Of The Red Stuff In The Latest Trailer

Director Alip Santosa’s latest bilingual thriller carries a tone likening to action whilst primarily adhering to a more contemplative crime millieu more than anything, and judging by the trailers circulating online for the last few years, it looks quite appealing. It’s the new film, Bloody Revenge, which puts Indonesian actress Cinta Dewi right in the center of Hong Kong where the search for her sister ultimately takes a few gruesome turns for the worse. Clearly this is a road with no returning point, because now she’s out for blood and with a blunt farming blade as her tool of choice, she’s eager to get the job done no matter what. Actor Zack Lee and Singaporean action star Sunny Pang are the villains in this one for its current release date set for January 7, 2016.
