THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 Gets A New International Trailer, And Then Some!

A little over a week since Marvel fans Marveled at the first trailer footage for The Amazing Spider-Man 2, several extensive announcements have been made, including the film’s IMAX theater distribution, the superhero’s forthcoming presence at this year’s New Years’ Eve bash, a spot during this year’s superbowl and Friday’s announcement from Sony Pictures officially confirming production for the June 10, 2016 release of The Amazing Spider-Man 3, in addition to the hiring of writers to develop spin-off projects for franchise characters such as Venom and The Sinister Six. Bearing all this mind, of course Marvel isn’t letting it go without some more icing on the web-topped awesome superhero movie cake as we look ahead to 2018 in an era filled with spectacular films to come, and the trailers that precende them.

On that note, here is the latest international trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2, courtesy of Comic Book Movie. The film makes its way to North America on May 5, 2014 in 2D/3D and IMAX. Based on the Marvel comic book by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is produced by Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach and stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Campbell Scott, Embeth Davidtz, Paul Giamatti, Colm Feore and Sally Field.
SYNOPSIS:

We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead.

It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.
