THE BABYSITTER: McG’s Coming Of Age Horror Comedy Sequel Films Later This Month

Principal photography is just a few weeks away as director McG (Terminator: Salvation) sets up his return to sequelize his 2017 horror romp, The Babysitter, for Netflix.

Actor Judah Lewis will reprise the lead role building on the story of Cole, a timid young teenager who found himself cornered on hunted by his sexy babysitter, Bee, and her psychotic Satanic cult with his parents out of town. The new film will see Cole two years after following that harrowing evening, now forced to confront old enemies despite his best efforts to return to normalcy.

Actress Samara Weaving conquered the screen in the title role as she has in recent titles like Ready Or Not, Mayhem, and upcoming action thriller, Guns Akimbo. No official word yet if she’ll take up the title character.

Lewis will be rejoined by much of the returning cast including upcoming Code 8 star Robbie Amell, actresses Hana Mae Lee, Bella Thorne and Emily Alyn Lind, and Andrew Bachelor, Ken Marino, Leslie Bibb, Carl McDowell, Chris Wylde.

McG is producing with Mary Viola and Zack Schiller from a script by Dan Lagana. Steven Bello, Corey Marsh, Brian Duffield, Alex Boies, Tyler Zacharia and Devin Andre will exec produce.

Production hails from Wonderland Sound and Vision and Boies/Schiller Film Group.
