Bill Skarsgård is set to lead Boy Kills World from debut director Moritz Mohr. Arend Remmers (Sløborn) and Tyler Burton Smith (Kung Fury: The Movie) penned the script which also brings actress Samara Weaving, and international action star Yayan Ruhian.
Actress Samara Weaving has been a cinematic gift in recent memory with films like Mayhem, Ready Or Not and The Babysitter to name a few. This time, she’s got Daniel Radcliffe in her sights as an exponential killer in Guns Akimbo, from Deathgasm helmer Jason Lei Howden following strong turnouts at Toronto’s TIFF and at Fantastic Fest in Austin.
Production on The Batman lands its start date for January 2020 from Warner Bros. for a June 2021 deadline, and the trades are all confirming the finalized deal for the role of Catwoman for actress Zoe Kravitz (Mad Max: Fury Road, The Divergent Series, Kin). Matt Reeves is directing the hotly-anticipated DC adaptation which will star Robert Pattinson in the title role from a script by Reeves, and Mattson Tomlin. Fox Searchlight is proudly signaling the return of Mayhem actress Samara Weaving to the big screen in horror romp, Ready Or Not. The film is directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, and features as screenplay by Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy.
