The Claws Come Out In The Final Trailer For X-MEN: APOCALYPSE

I think it’s fair to say that almost whenever any kind of super hero movie news makes the rounds speculating that a certain character may or may not make an appearance, the truth in the end will be the opposite. We saw it when we first heard that Robert Downey Jr. wouldn’t appear in the third installment of Captain America: Civil War before that was exact opposite was confirmed (comic book aficionados likely knew better), and now after first learning that Hugh Jackman’s longstanding X-Men role as Marvel mainstay, Wolverine, wouldn’t appear in Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Apocalypse, that all turns out to be a complete falsehood in the initial trailer tease for Monday’s third trailer release of the film which opens later next month.

Sure, we don’t fully know in what capacity he’ll be in the film, but the claws at the end dictate the very fact that Jackman WILL make a cameo in this one. At any rate, if this franchise teaches you nothing else, it teaches you that you can’t have an X-Men movie without Wolverine. So, that said and a paragraph-and-a-half into this article ranting about the matter, we also get to see our cast in action once again with a teaser shot of actress Lana Condor in the role of Jubilee. No fireworks though, but, her character has finally made her way to an X-Men movie, so that along with all we can expect from director Bryan Singer’s stunning treatment of this property, I’m pretty pleased by what I’m seeing and guarantees we’ll be in for nothing short of an epic adventure full of action and spectacle led by Oscar Isaac as our title villain and returning cast James McAvoy and Jennifer Lawrence, along with a little bit of family drama between actors Evan Peters and Michael Fassbender (remember Days Of Future Past), and so on.
