THE DEATH OF ROBIN HOOD Teases A Man Who Was No Hero In The Official Trailer
I’m starting to feel like if there’s at least one other studio I would trust with a movie of any kind, it would be A24. Perhaps one day a conversation will be had about that movie, while another now gets its day in the sun with the official trailer reveal for The Death Of Robin Hood, starring Hugh Jackman in the title role and directed by Pig helmer Michael Sarnoski.
Grappling with his past after a life of crime and murder, Robin Hood finds himself gravely injured after a battle he thought would be his last. In the hands of a mysterious woman, he is offered a chance at salvation.
Jodie Comer, Bill Skarsgård, Murray Bartlett and Noah Jupe also star. Featured as well is a load of grit and brooding allure from a film that now lands a new variation on the celebrated protagonist of English folklore. It’s a haunting look and I can’t wait to check this out.
