It’s the first of the month as of this post, and with director Phan Anh scoring a week’s advance to release his upcoming martial arts thriller, The Foggy Mountain, the official trailer is now online.
The big investment here for Galaxy Studio, of course, and the lucky buyers around the world for distro, is actor and Wing Chun specialist Peter Pham who has already proliferated himself amply in the independent scene.
Here, he plays Phi, a fearless fighter whose former village hangs in the balance upon his return home to avenge his wife’s death at the hands of a ruthless gangster. The new trailer above dives in plentily for the narrative reveal, and the rousing cliffhanger finish with Pham going toe-to-toe with Ip Man 3 actor Simon Kook offers a hearty nibble for action junkies to hang onto.
